To explore, enjoy, and protect the wild places of the earth; To practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources; To educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.
Gifts
04A $5 Your gift helps purchase compostable cups and utensils to be used at local environmental education events. Towards our goal of Zero Waste, we use reusable and compostable supplies when hosting community events.
04B $10 Helps fund local environmental education. The Finger Lakes of the Sierra Club has provided education and forums regarding issues that affect the local and global ecosystem. Recent topics include fractured natural gas drilling, local watersheds and drinking water, sustainable energy, and zero waste.
04C $15 Provides a 1 year subscription of the Sierra Club environmental education magazine to a local school or library. Youth are the key to the future. Your gift will help provide up to date information about ways to save the planet and spur the critical thinking that is needed to develop new ideas.
