Mission Statement

The Mental Health Association in Tompkins County is committed to developing and supporting the active involvement of ordinary people (including providers, family members and recipients) in all aspects of mental health; these include the definition of needs, the promotion of community and the provision of services. We also support the human and civil rights of people who use mental health services, and will educate the community on all perspectives concerning mental health and mental health disabilities.

46A $5 Your gift will provide a summer pass to the Hangar Theatre for a child enrolled in our KIDS FIRST Program.
46B $10 Your gift will provide a comfort bag to a child/teen who has been admitted for inpatient treatment.

Your gift will provide the materials to train a Respite volunteer who will enrich the life of Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED) children.

46D $50 Your gift will provide 100 copies of our Recovery booklet designed to strengthen inpatient transition back into the community.
