Mission Statement
Cayuga Dog Rescue rescues friendly, adoptable dogs who are at high risk in shelters: they are facing euthanasia due to shelter overcrowding; they are deteriorating physically or emotionally due to the stress of the shelter situation; or they are suffering greatly with treatable medical conditions that are going untreated. All of our rescue dogs receive top-notch veterinary care here in Ithaca and live in loving local foster homes until we place them into permanent adoptive homes. |
