Mission Statement
Clean and Healthy New York (CHNY) advances broad policy and market changes to promote safer chemicals, a sustainable economy, and a healthier world. CHNY is the continuation of Clean New York, which was founded by experienced environmental health advocates in 2006. We promote change by educating and engaging New Yorkers at the grassroots level through such gateway issues as cleaners, cosmetics, and children's products, and documenting the problems posed by our failed chemical system through biomonitoring and product testing.
