Mission Statement

Golden Opportunity (GO) is a non-profit tutoring program providing academic support for elementary and middle school children in the Ithaca School District. GO tutors are primarily retired teachers who are carefully matched with one child to create an ideal fit to work together throughout the student’s early school years.
