Mission Statement

The mission of the Ithaca Children's Garden is to create a unique and joyful garden environment designed to inspire, empower, and connect children and youth with the importance of plants and the natural world in their lives.

Gifts
31A $5 Provides seeds for one child to discover the magic of growing their own greens and spring vegetables from seed to harvest in the growing gardens program. "Delicious! Spinach rocks!"
31B $10 Purchases a rainbow of 10 brightly blooming bulbs, for our new bulb labyrinth memorial garden, to honor babies and children in our community who have died.
31C $20 Purchases ingredients and cooking supplies for one international garden chef's program: children discover first hand where their food comes from, through careful harvest and loving preparation to blending ingredients and sharing a meal together.
31D $25 Purchases a young fruit tree (pear, cherry, apple or peach) for our growing orchard and edible forest garden, planted as a cooperative ecosystem.
31X $ open Empowers children and youth to care for the planet through their experience in the garden.
