Mission Statement
Ithaca Kitchen Cupboard, a project of Area Congregations Together since 1969, serves as an emergency and supplementary food pantry for people in the City and Town of Ithaca who live at or below 185% of the poverty level. The Cupboard is open daily and provides eligible households with groceries for three days’ worth of balanced meals which can be prepared in their own homes. The cupboard is operated, staffed and supported by volunteers from the two dozen Ithaca congregations participating in Area Congregations Together. |
