Provide a bus pass for one youth to attend an apprenticeship, exploring career interests and gaining valuable job skills. Apprenticeships provide an avenue for a diverse group of young people to explore their interests, gain new skills, and contribute to our community. From electrical engineering to equine research, retail sales to restaurant management, law enforcement to legal assisting and website design to robotic design, apprenticeships offer a personalized entry into the world of adult roles and responsibilities. |

Provide eight youth with transportation to a community service site where they will contribute their energies to address a community issue. Service groups explore their community, discovering its strengths and needs. The group identifies projects in the community that they would like to undertake and, with the help of staff and community people, plan and implement the projects. |

Any amount to support the Learning Web’s efforts to assist youth in making a successful transition to adulthood. Assisting young people on their journey to adulthood is our mission: sparking a passion, connecting them with an adult role model, helping them learn how to live on their own and believe in themselves, growing a vision for their future, helping young people evolve into valued members of our community—as workers, as parents, as neighbors, as active and productive citizens. |
