$5 Help provide art supplies and educational materials specially geared for children with special needs. Our special education classroom teachers are always planning projects and learning activities to enhance their daily curriculum. Your gift will allow them to purchase supplies that make these activities meaningful and possible for all the children in our programs.
$15 Assist in bringing enrichment programs to our special education preschool. (i.e. nature programs, artists, musicians, literacy improvement) The opportunity for guest speakers, presenters, and special programs allow children with special needs to experience an environment of learning and fun. Your gift will fund these special events and programs.
$25 Provide childcare services during out Parent Informational Sessions for caregivers and parents unable to find care for their child with a special need. Many parents are faced with the additional challenge of finding quality care for their child with a special need when they aren’t at school. At our Parent Informational Sessions, we provide childcare free of charge to attendees so their focus can be on learning. Your gift will pay for qualified staff during these events.
$50 Help cover the additional costs of providing evaluations for children that live in rural areas. When a parent is concerned about their child’s development, an evaluation helps parents understand their child’s strengths and challenges. Completing this evaluation in a child’s home allows the therapist to observe the child in their least restrictive environment, thus getting a clear picture of who that child is and what their needs are. Your gift will help cover the extra expenses associated with traveling to rural areas to see children with special needs.

The Centers has provided opportunities to people with special needs for almost sixty years. This allows the Centers to assist families and individuals throughout their lives.
