Mission:

The Mental Health Association in Tompkins County is committed to developing and supporting the active involvement of ordinary people (including providers, family members and recipients) in all aspects of mental health; these include the definition of needs, the promotion of community and the provision of services. We also support the human and civil rights of people who use mental health services, and will educate the community on all perspectives concerning mental health and mental health disabilities.

 

 

Gifts:

$50 Support the recovery of individuals on the Behavioral Unit at Cayuga Medical Center by supplying 100 copies of our Recovery booklet designed to strengthen their transition back into the community.

$25 Help to educate 5 volunteers who will work with Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED) children by providing materials for their training.

$10 Enrich the life of a child enrolled in our Kids First Program, by providing them with a summer pass to the Hanger Theater.

$5 Provide the workbook for one individual participating in our Weekly Wellness Support Group to enhance their quality of life.

$___ Support the programs of the MHATC that provide education, family support services, information, and advocacy while ensuring available and accessible mental health services to Tompkins County.
