Mission:

We are a shelter of hope. Our doors are open to all companion animals in need within Tompkins County. We care for them. We find good homes for every adoptable animal in the county. We foster enriching relationships between people and animals through education and advocacy. We lead the nation on a humane path toward the No Kill ethic.

 

Gifts:

$5- food, shelter, and love for a homeless cat or dog
Provides good food, fresh clean water, and a safe, dry, warm place for a homeless cat or dog. Hugs and kisses no extra cost!

$15- flea and tick treatment for a homeless cat or dog
Stops the itchies and prevents diseases carried by ticks such as Lyme Disease. 

$25– rabies and distemper vaccinations for a homeless cat or dog
Initial one-year vaccination against rabies and yearly protection against distemper.

$50– spay/neuter surgery for one cat or dog
Prevents future unwanted litters of kittens and puppies. Also prevents many kinds of cancers in pets.
