Mission:

Sustainable Tompkins is a coalition of citizens, community organizations, elected officials, educators and professionals from diverse fields all working to promote a more sustainable community. We fulfill three important roles:

Connecting - We bring together disparate elements of our community that are interested in social, environmental, or economic aspects of sustainable development.

Convening - We create opportunities for members of our community and leaders within various sectors to learn about the systemic nature of regional sustainable development.

Catalyzing - We support the development of new enterprises and community sustainable development projects.
